Suriya clarifies on media misinterpretation

Recently a major Tamil daily published news on certain actresses in a distasteful manner and the Nadigar Sangam, in support of the actresses, demanded the arrest of the journalist. The scribe was later arrested. The actors including popular stars like Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Suriya and others expressed their anguish criticizing the daily for defaming the artistes. But there was an interpretation by certain sections of the media that the actors attacked the media in general. Clarifying on this actor Suriya has come out with a statement elaborating on his relationship with the media persons. The actor stated that he had tendered his support for the actresses who were affected by the baseless news published by the daily. While expressing his concern on generalizing his speech, Suriya said that he has also been affected by such rumors personally and during such times only media friends had helped him come out of the mess. The star added that during the demonstration he said that the press creates social awareness among the people and they show the right direction for the public. In his press statement he added that as in every organization even in the media there are some spurious elements that hurt people with their groundless stories and any individual can raise their voice against them and it is not necessary that they should be an actor to do so. Suriya said that certain media friends have urged him to clarify the issue and hence he had come out with a statement accusing only those involved in the wrongdoing and not the media community as a whole. The actor said that his family has had a good relationship with the media for over forty years. He thanked his media friends for bringing this point clear to all and he said he respects the healthy relationship he is enjoying with the media.

AADHAVAN MOVIE SYNOPSIS:

Actress Saroja Devi plays the role of a rich woman
who owns big mansion and has four sons. Nayantara is the daughter of the oldest son. Surya joins as a servant in their house, who wants to take revenge on the family members and the story takes a different turn, when Surya happens to fall in love with Nayantara. Vadivelu gives life to the comedy track, playing the cook role in 'Saroja Devi's mansion.

Music is scored by 'Harris Jeyaraj' for 'Aadhavan' movie and it has six tracks. Harris Jeyaraj has given good music scores for 'Vaarnam Aayiram' & 'Ayan' earlier.

இயக்குநர்கள் எல்லாம் மேக்கப் போட ஆரம்பித்து விட்டார்கள். ஆனால் நடிகர்கள் இயக்குநராவது என்பது எப்போதாவது ஒருமுறை தான் நிகழ்கிறது.

Suriya and Hari: On a hat trick

Suriya seems to be one among very few actors in the Tamil Film Industry, who clearly knows what he is doing. Close on the heels of completing 'Ayan', the actor would commence shooting for a film which is to be directed by K. S. Ravikumar. Meanwhile, reports suggest that he has also zeroed in on directors for two other films, which would go to the floors this year.

According to sources close to Suriya, the actor would be part of a film that is to be directed by Mysskin followed by another with director Hari. Both Suriya and Hari share a good rapport as they have combined well to render big hits in 'Aaru' and 'Vel' earlier.

According to reports, Suriya will play a police officer in the film. However it is expected to be quite different to the role of Anbuchelvan in 'Khaakha Khaakha'. Will Suriya and Hari prove to be third time lucky?

Hari reportedly is zeroing in on Shriya to play the film's heroine.

Surya appears as 10 years old in Aadhavan!

After Kamal appears as 2.5 foot Appu in Aboorva Sagotharargak, it is Suriya’s turn to wow audiences with a similar get up. But this time Surya is going to appear as a 10 year old boy in his forthcoming film Aadhavan.

His director K.S Ravikumar’s disclosed this at the audio and trailer launch of Aadhavan few days ago.

“The effort and hard work Suriya put in for 15 days to play the part of a ten-year-old in the film is unbelievable,” he disclosed, and added that Suriya was full of admiration for Kamal Haasan, who had played ten different roles in Dasavatharam, after playing the part.

“Suriya was wondering how Kamal sir had managed to play so many roles so well when it was difficult to play one role,” Ravikumar, said to loud cheers from fans gathered to witness the launch.
